Where:     ParkWest Medical Complex, 3676 Parker Blvd. Pueblo, CO
When:        Wednesday, June 3 from 4-6pm

(Pueblo, CO June 1, 2015) –– Convenience. One word is all that is needed to describe the new location for Parkview Medical Center’s Orthopedic Surgeons, as well as an added location for outpatient rehabilitation services. Parkview invites the community to help celebrate the opening of these two new offices on Wednesday, June 3rd from 4-6pm at the ParkWest Medical Complex.

ParkWest Medical Complex will be the new home for Parkview Orthopedics and Parkview Outpatient Rehab.  Conveniently located near Highway 50 and Pueblo Boulevard, ParkWest features ample parking, a covered circular drive for front door drop offs and easily accessible offices. The location also will allow for the two offices to be across the hall from one another, providing patients with the ease of seeing their surgeon and physical therapist just a few short steps away from one another.

Orthopedic Surgeons Dr. Jennifer Fitz Patrick, Dr. Rickland Likes, Dr. Mark Porter, Dr. Drew Ritter and Dr. Robert Thomas will be located in the new state-of-the-art facility. New services for patients include ultrasound-guided injections, digital x-rays, c-arm fluoroscopy. The new location also allows for onsite casting, splinting and the availability of durable medical equipment such as crutches, splints and walking boots, avoiding the need to go to multiple locations. Five physician assistants will also see patients at this location adding to the ease and simplification of care.

The continuum of care doesn’t end after surgery or discharge from the hospital. Physical therapy is a vital step in the recovery process, so Parkview is excited to add another convenient location for rehabilitation services. The new location will complement the existing locations at the Pueblo YMCA Campus and at Parkview’s main campus.

Plan to attend the celebration event on Wednesday, June 3rd and be among the first to tour the new facility as well as meet Parkview surgeons and physical therapists. For additional information, please call 584-7369.
