Parkview Medical Center: Going Above and Beyond for You

Parkview Medical Center is the only hospital in Southern Colorado to offer a Chest Pain Center with a dual accreditation by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and Mission Lifeline.

Sponsored by the American Heart Association, this accreditation program recognizes centers that meet or exceed quality of care measures for people experiencing the most severe type of heart attack, ST-elevation myocardial infraction (STEMI), in which blood flow is completely blocked to a portion of the heart.

Through its accreditation program, the American Heart Association hopes to significantly reduce cardiac death by teaching the public to recognize the early signs and symptoms of a heart attack, reduce the time it takes to receive lifesaving treatment, and increase the accuracy and effectiveness of treatment administered.

What does this mean for you and your loved ones?

At Parkview, not only do you have access to elite doctors and technology, but you also have a proactive team that is constantly training to improve the care they can provide. Not because we have to, but because we’re dedicated to caring for you.
