Our Community

Pueblo

Parkview is proud to be located in Pueblo, Colorado. Located at the confluence of the Arkansas River and Fountain Creek, we are one of the largest steel-producing cities in the United States, nicknamed the "Steel City". Not only is Pueblo home to steel, but also to quality health care provided by Parkview.

We support our community!

Parkview is committed to giving back to the community we serve. In 2015, we supported local organizations with cash and in-kind contributions totaling more than $256,016. Employees are also encouraged to give back by supporting organizations like United Way of Pueblo County, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Special Olympics and many, many more. Employees not only volunteer and serve on boards of local charities, but they also have the opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement Rock-n-Bowl, United Way's Liberty Point 4th of July 5k, March of Dimes Mud Volleyball and several other local fun runs and walks.

Parkview’s commitment to education begins earlier than most realize. As the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, our Emergency and Trauma Departments are dedicated to providing our community with injury and fall prevention events and educational opportunities to our at risk populations. Our Parkview Mobile Nurse team also provides free blood pressure checks and various health screenings throughout the community to educate on healthier lifestyle choices.

We also empower students through health care education. Since 2002, the School to Employment Program (STEP) has graduated 143 students. 85% of the students continue on a health care pathway.

We also support the following organizations through health care scholarships: Health Academy, Pueblo African American Concern Organization (PAACO) and Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation.

After you Apply

All job offers are contingent upon passing a background check, drug screen, and physical assessment. If you are interested in more than one position, please make sure you fill out one application per job title.

Fill the application out completely, including position desired, all phone numbers, dates of employment, supervisors, any professional licenses and/or certifications, references and your signature.

Once your application is turned in to the Parkview Employment Office:

  • It is active for 90 days from the date received.
  • Applications that meet the posted qualifications will be forwarded to the hiring directors.
  • Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to respond to inquiries regarding the status of your application.
  • If you are selected for an interview you will be contacted.
  • If you are the successful candidate, the recruiters will contact you with a job offer. All other interviewed candidates will be notified by mail.
  • It is not necessary to include copies of your credentials.
