Parkview School of MLS: Introduction to Laboratory Education, Management, and Research

Course Description

Lectures will cover an introduction to the basic educational, statistics, research, and management tools needed by laboratory personnel.
  • The management lectures include management roles and styles, communication, laboratory regulatory legislation, HIPAA, financial management, personnel management, ethics, quality assurance, and statistics.
  • The education lectures cover the designing of instructional objectives, learning activities, and evaluation tools.
  • The analysis and critical evaluation of published research articles are covered through the completion of a research project.
