Need Wi-Fi help?
Please call our HELP desk at 584.4357 if you are encountering difficulties connecting.
Parkview Medical Center offers free wireless internet access for patients, guests and visitors. Wireless access allows you to use your own wireless-equipped device to surf the web, check e-mail and chat with friends and family. You can get work done, or connect with loved ones while at Parkview. To access the wireless network, you will need a wireless mobile device such as a laptop computer, tablet computer, or Smartphone, equipped with an internet browser, and wireless capabilities. Our Information Technology department is happy to offer connectivity assistance.
Most patient rooms at Parkview are equipped with phones. Local calls may be placed by dialing “9” and then the local number. Long-distance calls are placed through the hospital operator and must be “collect,” or billed to a patient’s home phone or credit card. Because cell phones may affect electrical medical equipment, please ask your nurse before using one.
Mail, Flowers and Newspaper Delivery
Mail, packages, flowers and newspapers will be delivered to you by one of our hospital volunteers. Nurses or volunteers can help with outgoing mail. To receive personal mail during your stay, the address is: Patient Name & Room Number, Parkview Medical Center, 400 W. 16th Street, Pueblo, CO, 81003.
Mail received after your discharge will be forwarded to your home address. Flowers delivered after your discharge will not be accepted.
There are waiting areas available throughout the hospital for visitors. The surgical waiting room is staffed with a customer liaison Monday-Friday from 5:30 am - 4:00 pm to help keep family and friends informed about patient progress.
Hand-washing is an important part of keeping healthy. It is strongly encouraged that all visitors continuously wash hands or use the hand-washing foam located throughout the hospital during visits.
