 Parkview Medical Center Announces addition of a four-legged Employee
(Pueblo, CO July 13, 2009) – Parkview Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of a new and very special employee. Bella, a rehabilitation dog, has been hired to assist in the Parkview Center for Rehabilitation.
Bella, a Welch Corgi, will join her best friend Max in making visits to patients on the rehab unit. Both Bella and Max have a high skill level in being cute, affectionate, spunky and most of all – motivational. Both dogs specialize in working with patients on the rehab floor who may be depressed about their current diagnosis or condition. Bella and Max work tirelessly to aid patients in their rehabilitation progression by helping them to take additional steps, throw treats further and laugh a little during treatment.
Bella was home schooled and in her spare time, enjoys chew toys, long walks, car rides and cheering people up. Both Bella and Max live with Dr. Charlie Vial and his wife Desi.# # # |
