Diabetes Care Center at Parkview appoints Nurse Educator
(Pueblo, CO April 5, 2007) –Parkview Medical Center is pleased to announce that Christine Arveschoug, RN has been named Diabetes Nurse Educator. In her new position, Arveschoug will be responsible for providing comprehensive diabetes self-management skills and education to both inpatients and outpatients.
Arveschoug has been employed at Parkview for thirteen years. During that time she has served as a lead clinical nurse in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Arveschoug earned her Associate Nursing Degree from Pueblo Community College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is also training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and is certified as a personal trainer through the American Council of Exercise.
