Team efforts in the community
As a way to improve Southern Colorado’s quality of life, the Parkview Wellness Team is a sponsor of the Adopt a Highway program (through the Colorado Department of Transportation) on behalf of its employees. Four times a year our employees from a variety of departments pick up trash along a one-mile stretch of Interstate 25.
Parkview also participates in the Operation Paintbrush project coordinated through Pueblo Neighborhood Works. Each fall, the Wellness Team chooses a home to repaint within the Pueblo community for a family who applies for assistance.
Our Wellness Team believes being visible within the community is important. Minimizing barriers between patients and staff is accomplished through the work we do beyond the hospital environment. |
