Planting a seed for a healthy tomorrow
Parkview Foundation, under the direction of an exceptional Board of Directors and the work of its dedicated staff, continues to be a pivotal source of funding to Parkview Medical Center. Established in 1976, Parkview Foundation raises funds to further the mission of the medical center. The success Parkview Foundation has come to know is because of you, our friends and donors. For the past 40-plus years Parkview Foundation has been involved in many projects including fundraising events, sponsoring employee recognition awards and supporting healthcare scholarships.
The Foundation receives and maintains funds from corporate and individual gifts, grants, bequeathal programs and special events which are used to provide services focused on health promotion, facility improvements, capital improvements and scholarship assistance.
Giving
The Foundation will solicit unrestricted funds whenever appropriate through annual programs, community events and development programs. Funds are raised from individuals, private sector and the business community highlighting specific programs, projects and major equipment items. Ultimately, all funds are solicited for needed capital and annual resources for the general support of Parkview Medical Center. Gifts may come in the form of unrestricted or restricted. The Foundation also receives gifts such as marketable property, gifts in kind, insurance policies and trusts.
Keeping Families Close
The Parkview Foundation Guest House is a special service provided to patients and their families requiring accommodations for a short stay. The Guest House is located one block south of the hospital at 421 W. 15th Street.
Parkview Foundation oversees, administers and maintains the Guest House operations. The Guest House features six rooms, a living area, small kitchen area and is ADA compliant. A nominal fee is charged and for those who cannot pay, the room is donated.

Parkview Foundation has been instrumental in providing funds to improve facilities, enhance services, advance technology and support quality improvement opportunities at Parkview.
