Employees peddle their way to Parkview Medical Center for Colorado Bike to Work Day
What: Numerous Parkview Medical Center employees will park their car for the day to take part in Colorado’s Bike to Work Day. Whether saving gas money, getting fit or improving the environment is their reason for participating employees will hop on their bikes and commute to the hospital from several different locations throughout the city. Upon arriving to Parkview, those employees will be treated to nutritious refreshments at various entrances to the hospital. The medical center will also provide bike racks for employees to lock up their bike for the day. Prior to the event, employees will have the opportunity to pick up safe route maps for the trek to work.
When: Wednesday, June 24, 2009. Refreshment stations will be open from 6 to 9 am.
