Parkview’s 32-bed Emergency Department treats a variety of medical conditions, ranging from minor cuts and illnesses to life threatening injuries. We provide you and your family emergency services at two convenient locations. Parkview-Pueblo West is the only stand alone emergency department in the region. Parkview Medical Center is the home of the only certified and American College of Surgeons verified Level II Trauma Center south of Denver. Our team of board certified emergency room physicians and highly trained emergency nurses work every day at the bedside, to enhance our level of care for chest pain, stroke and trauma. We are constantly striving to decrease the time you spend in the ER. Parkview earned the Joint Commissions Gold Seal of Approval for stroke care in 2005 and is proud to be a Primary Stoke Center. |
