PUEBLO, Colo. (July 16, 2009)--- Are you a golfer? Would you like to be? Or do you just want to know what the heck your husband is talking about when he comes home from a round on the course? Parkview Medical Center and Spirit of Women want to help. The latest Health-u-tainment program offered by Parkview is “Life’s not a Spectator Sport.” This event will combine an all women’s golf clinic with expert information on osteoporosis.

“Life’s not a Spectator Sport” will be held Thursday, July 30 at Walking Stick Golf Course from 4:00 to 7:30 pm. The cost to attend is $35 for Spirit of Women members and $40 for non-members. Refreshments will be served.

Josh Koschke will lead a team of PGA pros in teaching techniques for driving, chipping and putting on the golf course. Dr. Danylchuk has prepared a presentation on bone and joint health specifically for women. Complimentary Bone Density Screenings will also be available at the event.
