Nature’s Nourishment Support Group
Support continues after you have delivered- an educational component will be available from a Certified Lactation Educator or Consultant as well as support and suggestions from breastfeeding moms. Group meets 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.

Too Fast, Too Furious, Too Deadly
A program sending a powerful message to adolescents and teens about the consequences of driving while under the influence of alcohol. Program includes a realistic and graphic re-enactment of a motor vehicle crash involving several teens, along with emotional interviews from families and friends who have lost a loved one to an alcohol related accident.
This program is facilitated by Parkview ER nurses, is approximately one hour and is available to come to school, church and community events by calling Parkview's Health Initiatives Dept. at 584-7324 to schedule an appearance.

Baby Beginnings - Preparing for Childbirth
All classes 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Wed., Aug. 6 - Sept 3, Oct. 1 - Oct. 29
Teaching the expectant mother and her labor partner about the birth process - learning how to replace the tension response that occurs during labor contractions with relaxation and effective breathing techniques. The labor partner will learn how to provide support, comfort, and encouragement during the birth process. Plan to start around the 24th week of pregnancy.
