- Students are required to pay two application fees. The first fee is for $25 for a drug screen and $45 for a background check. *
- Students are required to purchase textbooks. Price of books is approximately $550 to $600*. There is no refund on books if a student drops out of the program.
- During the spring of the clinical year, students must pay approximately $200* certification examination application fee to the Board of Registry. It is also recommended that all students take the NCA certification examination. The NCA certification examination application is approximately $145.00.*
- Students are required to have some type of health insurance during the 12-month program. In the case of the 3+1 student, insurance can be obtained from the affiliated college/university.
- Students must provide their own uniforms, room and board. Meals may be taken in the hospital cafeteria at cost. Lab coats are provided and laundered by the Hospital.
- No tuition is charged by the hospital. 3+1 students may be required to pay tuition to their college or university (Check with university/college MT Advisor).

Graduation and Certification:
Students successfully completing their training are given a certificate from the Hospital and are eligible to take the ASCP and NCA Certifying Examinations. The issuing of this certificate is not contingent upon the student passing any certifying examination. |
