This live, multi-media puppet presentation introduces hospitals and the professionals who work in them, to children between ages 4-7.
Following the story of brother Josh, and his sister Ashley, local high school drama clubs bring the story to the stage throughout elementary schools in Pueblo and southern Colorado. The importance of this program is twofold.
The first is to introduce younger children to the hospital setting in a non-threatening, comical way. Secondly, many children can recall that doctors and nurses are members of the healthcare team, but The Great Hospital Adventure goes further, and includes other team members including Paramedics, Physical Therapists, and Radiological Technologists.
