Parkview Medical Center is proud to be affiliated with numerous businesses, non-profit agencies, community colleges, universities and school districts throughout southern Colorado, that work to bring opportunities to students of diverse backgrounds who are interested in learning more about healthcare professions.
Parkview Medical Center provides tours and career exploration camps several times a year, bringing students to our campus, and often bringing our professionals to the students. Through the use of simulated, clinical settings, these students learn about the hospital setting and the important work done here every day to restore and maintain health.
Highly interactive scenarios place these youth in an environment that they find appealing and of interest. For many, these programs open the door for them to pursue their dream of having a career in health care. |
