The Parkview School of Medical Laboratory Science has been providing Southern Colorado with highly trained laboratory technologists since 1966. A Medical Laboratory Scientist is a B.S. level professional that performs a wide variety of tests in five major areas of the clinical laboratory:
- Microbiology
- Hematology
- Clinical Chemistry
- Blood Bank
- Urinalysis
The School provides a 12 month accredited program designed to prepare men and women for a challenging career in medical laboratory science. At the completion of the clinical year, the student is eligible to take the ASCP Board of Certification Exam to become a registered medical laboratory scientist.
