As the new Medicare Drug Insurance plan begins to sign up new enrollees in the coming weeks, and with the many concerns of seniors in general, there is an on site department ready to help.
Free health insurance counseling is available and ready to provide assistance with trained gerontological volunteers. If you are a new Medicare enrollee or a caregiver for Medicare recipients, there is a resource center available to answer questions and assist you and your families in sorting out the myriad of information regarding Medicare. The service office is located on 3 East. Bonnie Koenig and Don Newton, trained volunteers under Volunteer Relations, are available. Call 584-4395 to schedule an appointment for assistance.
