Parkview Physician Services Offers Sports Physicals

Pueblo, CO - July 25, 2013 --- Parkview Physician Services will be conducting sports physicals for student athletes on Tuesday, August 6th and Wednesday, August 7th from 8am to 4pm.  The physicals will be held at Pueblo West High School on a first come, first serve basis. The cost of the physical is $30.
    A physician or board certified family nurse practitioner will conduct all physicals. Parental consent and pre-physical forms as well as family and medical history forms may be picked up at the mandatory parent meeting on Monday, August 5th , 6pm at Pueblo West High School.
    Physicals will range from 20 to 30 minutes in length and will include an emphasis on healthy behaviors and wellness; vital signs; simple vision exam; and a full body exam with particular emphasis on musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiovascular exam.
