Parkview Medical Center’s Got a Big Heart
WHO: Parkview Medical Center and generous donors
WHAT: Interactive Heart Exhibit
WHERE: Pueblo Mall, JC Penney Court, Dillon Dr., Pueblo CO
WHEN: Tuesday, February 23 & Wednesday, February 24 from 9am to 9pm
Do you ever think about what it looks like inside of your heart? There is no better way to find out, than to check out a giant replica of the most important muscle in your body. You might think you are as close to a heart as you can get, but you can be up close and personal with an interactive inflatable heart, the Ameriheart.
The Interactive Heart Exhibit will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd and Wednesday, February 24th at the Pueblo Mall. The Interactive Heart Exhibit Event will feature heart-guided tours, nutrition & exercise information, heart education, as well as education on bystander CPR. Parkview Medical Center clinicians will be on sight for any questions or concerns you have about heart health. This free event will be exciting and educational for all ages.
For the second time, Parkview Medical Center is providing the opportunity to tour Ameriheart, which is an interactive exhibit of the heart that educates visitors on heart diseases and features. Thanks to our generous donors, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield, Parkview Medical Group, Parkview Auxiliary, Regional Care, Inc., and Cardio Smart, Parkview is able to bring back the interactive heart exhibit.
As you tour the Ameriheart, you learn about your heart’s valves, arteries, veins and chambers. Take a look at the damage a heart infection and heart disease can cause. See how blood circulates. See what happens during a heart attack. The world’s largest, anatomically correct interactive heart exhibit will be open for tours from 9 am-9 pm.
