(Pueblo, CO, August 21, 2019) – Parkview Medical Center’s Spirit of Women is offering two chances for Puebloans to be their own kind of beautiful at its signature event in October.

Spirit of Women is bringing author, fitness expert and motivational speaker Petra Kolber to Pueblo for its signature fall event, a luncheon and an after-hours function Oct.9 that will feature presentations from Kolber, book signings and opportunities for women to schedule their 3-D mammograms with Parkview’s state-of-the-art imaging suite.

Kolber is the Author of “The Perfection Detox,” a book that details Kolber’s seven-year process of separating from perfectionism, divided into 21 steps for the reader to follow. The book is designed to help the reader eliminate self-doubt and the anxieties associated with perfectionism and replace them with joy, positivity and potential.

Kolber is an internationally renowned fitness expert and wellness leader and is known as a beacon for happiness. She has 25 years in the fitness world and has produced or starred in 60 fitness videos. She has been a consultant to many fitness magazines, conducts workshops and keynote speeches and has been the face and voice for companies such as Reebok, Spry Living, Yes Fitness Music and California Walnuts.

Kolber also is a two-time cancer survivor and is passionate about helping people realize the precious gift of time.

The spirit event will feature two ways to hear from Kolber. The first; Chapter 1, is a luncheon focused on some of the subjects in her book. However, attendees of the luncheon also will have the chance to shop from some of Spirit of Women’s business partners. The shopping goes from 11 to 11:30 a.m., followed by the lunch, presentation and book signing from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. More shopping will take place from 1 to 2 p.m.

Individual tickets to the luncheon are $30. Corporate tables of 10 or more are available for $350.

Chapter 2 is the after-hours program and Kolber will present on “Goal Setting for your Dreams.” Doors open at 5 p.m. with shopping and appetizers available until 6 p.m. Kolber will speak from 6 to 6:20 p.m., followed by a book-signing until 7 p.m.
