From Awareness to Action, Parkview Wants You to Take Action on Your Breast Health

 

Who:   Open to public

What: Awareness to Action, Facebook Live Event featuring Dr. Kruti Patel & Option to pick up lunch at Ruby’s and/or schedule mammogram

When: October 16th, 2020   Facebook live begins at 12:15 p.m.

Where: Follow us on Facebook @parkviewmc Lunch available at Ruby’s, 100 Broadway Ave

Price:  Free, Facebook live, $12 box lunch

 

PUEBLO, October 5, 2020– Parkview Medical Center and Ruby’s on Broadway have joined forces on National Mammogram Day for a Facebook live question and answer from Dr. Kruti Patel.  Patel, who is a physician at the Women’s Health Center in Pueblo will address the importance of breast health.  Participants will be able to watch for free through the Facebook live feature. 

The community can also stop by Ruby’s to schedule their mammogram.  Individuals who schedule their mammogram will be entered to win a Susan G. Komen cruiser bike provided by Spradley Auto Network.  Ruby’s will feature a $12 box lunch.   

Continuing breast health awareness, Ruby’s and Studio Share of Pueblo will host, “Pose for a Purpose,” a yoga event on the patio at Ruby’s.  Yoga will begin Saturday, October 17th at 10:00 a.m. and is donation based for participants.  Proceeds benefit Parkview’s comprehensive cancer center.
