Parkview Launches New Branding
(PUEBLO, May 10, 2021) – Today, Parkview will unveil to the public their new branding efforts which include an updated logo and colors. Furthermore, Parkview Medical Center is now Parkview Health System.
The new icon was born out of an exploratory that was inspired by Parkview’s current identity but has developed a fresh meaning and character that stands alone. The abstract design is comprised of intertwining lines that suggest connection – hands guiding patients through their health journey. The squared-off edges of the icon bring strength to the Parkview brand.
Parkview Health System remains as an independent, community system. With services throughout Pueblo, a cancer center slated to open next year and expanding hospital services in Pueblo West, the Parkview Health System name encompasses all the exceptional care Parkview provides to the community and surrounding counties.
“When I was given the opportunity to become CEO, I knew I wanted to look at our logo and branding. It has been over 50 years since the logo was refreshed and more importantly, we are not just a medical center anymore. We are constantly building the future of medicine at Parkview. We have cutting-edge technology and world-class talent. And now, our branding reflects our exceptional care, and our healthcare commitment and investments to Southern Colorado,” stated Leslie Barnes, President and CEO.
It is noted that it is also acceptable to refer to Parkview Health System as Parkview, a stand-alone name. Signage, collateral materials, and other branded items will be updated in phases.
