Parkview Names Wade Director of 5 Tower and 5 East

(PUEBLO, April 23, 2021) – Parkview has announced Andrea Wade as the new director for floors 5 Tower and 5 East.

Wade joined Parkview as a STEP (Student To Employment Program) student in 2003 while she was in high school.  She returned to Parkview while she continued her education as a nurse extern and then joined full-time in 2009 as a registered nurse in Parkview’s float pool.

In her new role, Wade will be responsible for the operational leadership and management of her floors while supporting members of her team.  She will work diligently with her team to ensure patient needs are met.  Additionally, Wade will be responsible for maintaining departmental relationships.

“Andrea has always had a passion for medical surgical floors and loves teaching new nurses about “med-surg” nursing.  Additionally, she was instrumental in helping develop the new bariatric program at Parkview.  We are all excited to see her grow into her new role,” stated Renee Elwell, Chief Nursing Officer.
