Smith Promoted to Director of Internal Resources


(PUEBLO, April 5, 2021) – Parkview has announced the promotion of Mandi Smith to Director of Internal Resources, float pool and 1 South Medical Surgical floor. 

In her new role, Smith will perform operational management and provide guidance for hospital throughput.  She will oversee patient support services, staffing effectiveness and leadership for the float pool and 1 South medical surgical department. 

“Mandi is a nurses’ nurse.  She is a leader that constantly works to support her staff so they can provide the highest quality of care.  I’m excited for her to take on this new leadership role,” stated Renee Elwell, Chief Nursing Officer.  

Smith completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Colorado State University Pueblo in 2004 and immediately began her career at Parkview as a registered nurse.  In 2010, Smith was named Nurse Manager of the float pool/1 South and served in that capacity until this recent promotion.
