Parkview Health System promotes two long-time employees to Directors.
(PUEBLO, June 20, 2022) – Parkview Health System has promoted two long-time employees to Director positions.
Kristin Blair is new the Director of Women and Children’s Services, which includes Labor and Delivery, OB/GYN, Nursery and Special Care Nursery, and Pediatrics. She has worked on L&D since 2014 and has been the Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator since 2016. Kristen also serves as an Adjunct Professor for the Colorado State University Pueblo School of Nursing.
“On the clinical side, Kristin comes with a strong background in Labor and Delivery,” said Renee Ewell, VP of Nursing Services and Chief Nursing Officer for Parkview. “With her Master of Science in Nursing – Education, she has been instrumental in developing our perinatal bereavement process.”
Richard Sims has been named Director of the 4East and 4South cardiac units. Richard brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Parkview team. A registered nurse with 23 years of experience, he earned his Combat Action Badge and his Expert Field Medical Badge serving in the United States Army. Richard has been at Parkview since 2016 working on the 4th floor cardiac unit.
