The Parkview Foundation is proud to bring the new Health and Wellness Trail to fruition at Parkview Pueblo West.
Behind the facility to the north, the quarter mile loop is lighted and include benches, fitness equipment, and beautiful scenery for our patients as they begin their orthopedic rehabilitation journey. It will also be accessible for visitors and employees to enjoy.
The Parkview Foundation would like to thank our donors, who have generously donated $662,000 to fund the area.
Trail sponsors include the Zawadowski Family, Pueblo Electrics, the Parkview Gift Shoppe, and Black Hills Energy.
There are specific zones along the trail that allow for a more intense workout. We would like to recognize the Rawlings Foundation for sponsoring the Chest Press and Lat Pull Zone, Leroy and Lynn Likes for sponsoring the Elliptical Zone, and our Parkview Employees and Pepsi for sponsoring the Leg Press.
If you are looking for a restful location to sit and enjoy the scenery, benches along the trail have been sponsored by John Cooksey with JDC Architecture, Dr. Paul McCarthy & Ms. Orla O’Callaghan, Jon & Lori Riggs , the Pueblo Community Health Center, Summit Brick Company, the Welte Family, and the Henne Family.
Other Contributors for the wellness trail include Colorado Sheet Metal, Olson Plumbing &Heating, Don’s Landscaping & Lawn Service, Judy & Roger Fonda, DS Masonry, New Image Drywall, T & S Excavating, and C & O Windows and Doors.
Parkview Foundation was created in 1976 to raise funds to meet the rising cost of expansion and renovation of hospital facilities. Over the past four decades, the Foundation has been involved in many projects ranging from fundraising events, sponsoring employee recognition awards and supporting healthcare scholarships.
