Schedule Your Colonoscopy

Parkview Medical Center offers colonoscopy screenings, close to home. If you are over the age of 50, schedule your colonoscopy to screen for precancerous polyps. Early screenings allow for early detection.

What is a Colonoscopy?

A colonoscopy is an endoscopic test that allows doctors to look into your large intestine and rectum to look for ulcers, precancerous polyps or other causes of cancer.

Why do I need a Colonoscopy?

Colon cancer is the third most commonly diagnosed cancer in men and women. If you are over the age of 50, regular colonoscopy screenings are essential for preventing colorectal and/or colon cancer. Colonoscopies help identify early signs of cancer including precancerous polyps. Early screenings allow for life-saving early detection.
