We are the Best Place To Work, Practice Medicine & Receive Care.

Parkview Medical Center is the largest employer in Pueblo, Colorado for a reason. Our culture, people, and benefits show why we're leading the way in health care.

We provide a dynamic, employee-centered culture, a team-focused atmosphere and opportunities for you to grow. We hire exceptional people who provide the best customer service and health care. We believe everyone matters and we all play a vital role in our patients’ experience and treatment.

Pueblo voted one of 25 most popular large cities to relocate to!

“Pueblo is unique for a city its size, in that it maintains a small-town feel. In this friendly, diverse community everyone is welcome. It’s common for people, even complete strangers to nod and smile as they pass each other on the street or hold the door for the person behind them. Pueblo is optimally located along the front range of Colorado Rockies and it benefits from a warmer more arid desert climate, yet still close to the San Juan and Sangre De Cristo mountain ranges. Residents enjoy year-round outdoor activities and a more secluded outdoor experience. Whether you’re looking for the convenience of urban and suburban living or the rural experience of peaceful open spaces and dark skies, Pueblo offers both at a reasonable price." - Sam Azad, City Manager

Diversity & Inclusion

At Parkview, equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace is just a part of what we do. No matter your age, gender, disability status, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or family circumstances, we make it our business to make sure you’re treated with fairness and respect. In fact, not just respect, but the appreciation of those differences. We’re dedicated to offering flexible working that focuses on the needs of every individual that supports all of our employees to help them feel valued, respected, and supported.

During our application process, we’ll ask you whether you believe you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Of course, you don’t have to answer this question. The only reason we ask is because we want to give you the opportunity to really shine on your application form and enjoy a great over all candidate experience. And although we will monitor your response, it’s only to ensure that we’re being fair and ensuring the right conditions will be in place for each person to achieve his or her full potential at Parkview Medical Center.

The Parkview Way

It is the "Parkview Way" to live our values and reach our goals.

Our mission is to provide the highest quality health care to the people we serve.

We value honesty and integrity, accountability, respect, teamwork and stewardship. Our vision is to be the health care provider of choice for patients, physicians and employees.

All of this aligns with our goals, which include engaging in a proud positive culture, providing a safe, quality environment, creating a positive patient experience, using our financial resources wisely and allowing Parkview and its employees to grow.

We strive to meet these goals with every person who comes in our doors every time they come in. That’s what makes us the best place to work, practice medicine and receive care.

Our Community

Parkview is proud to be located in Pueblo, Colorado. Located at the confluence of the Arkansas River and Fountain Creek, we are one of the largest steel-producing cities in the United States, nicknamed the "Steel City". Not only is Pueblo home to steel, but also to quality health care provided by Parkview.

We support our community!

Parkview is committed to giving back to the community we serve. In 2015, we supported local organizations with cash and in-kind contributions totaling more than $256,016. Employees are also encouraged to give back by supporting organizations like United Way of Pueblo County, March of Dimes, American Cancer Society, Special Olympics and many, many more. Employees not only volunteer and serve on boards of local charities, but they also have the opportunity to participate in Junior Achievement Rock-n-Bowl, United Way's Liberty Point 4th of July 5k, March of Dimes Mud Volleyball and several other local fun runs and walks.

Parkview’s commitment to education begins earlier than most realize. As the region’s only Level II Trauma Center, our Emergency and Trauma Departments are dedicated to providing our community with injury and fall prevention events and educational opportunities to our at risk populations. Our Parkview Mobile Nurse team also provides free blood pressure checks and various health screenings throughout the community to educate on healthier lifestyle choices.

We also empower students through health care education. Since 2002, the School to Employment Program (STEP) has graduated 143 students. 85% of the students continue on a health care pathway.

We also support the following organizations through health care scholarships: Health Academy, Pueblo African American Concern Organization (PAACO) and Pueblo Hispanic Education Foundation.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Parkview Medical Center affirms its commitment and pledges its full support to equal opportunities for all persons, regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by state or federal law.

Parkview is very aware that equal employment opportunity is important to our business and the community we serve. We have in place an Equal Employment Opportunity policy that guides our actions. All employees are expected to make every reasonable effort to carry out this policy. In addition, all managers have a responsibility to ensure this policy is understood throughout the organization. We expect all employees to demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for other persons, and to demonstrate commitment to the hospital’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy.

A copy of our Equal Employment Opportunity policy is available for review through the Human Resources department.
