About Scott A. Walmer

Dr. Walmer is a Board Certified Adult and Forensic Psychiatrist. He is a graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME and he completed his residency in adult psychiatry at the Institute of Living of Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. Dr. Walmer completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the division of Law and Psychiatry at the Yale University School of Medicine.

As a forensic expert, Dr. Walmer has performed evaluations in both criminal and civil contexts and has appeared as an expert witness in a variety of courts.

Dr. Walmer is a Staff Psychiatrist at Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, Colorado where he is also the Medical Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. He also serves as adjunct clinical faculty at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Walmer is licensed to practice medicine in Colorado and Connecticut.

In addition to working as a clinical psychiatrist for Parkview Medical Center, Dr. Walmer maintains a private practice in Forensic Psychiatry.
