No matter what phone number I tried, I could not get thru to a person. Message was not returned. Took a month to receive a call to set up appointment. Took an additional 3wks. After initial appointment it took another 3wks for someone to call me to set up appointment for procedure.

Everything was handled in a professional way. No long wait and I was especially impressed with the time the doctor spent with me making she he understood my condition and concerns. I couldn't be happier.

A slower explanation of the procedure, and the risks would be helpful.

Don't leave me 45 to 50 minutes sitting alone in the room, waiting for the doctor that was late for his appointment. My time is valuable, too.

Nothing very professional

Not much - support staff did a great job of making me feel comfortable. The doctor was super good at explaining things and also making me feel comfortable with both the explanations and the way he presented himself. Life in the medical profession is challenging enough, but to be able to stay calm, focused and create the sense that he cared was extra special.

Dr. Calcagno's medical assistant was wonderful. Getting an appointment was annoying. I almost went somewhere else. I had to, I called, and was told... we have to look it over. We'll call you, don't call us. I waited 3 weeks, and I finally called back and said, it's been 3 weeks. I need an appointment. The appointment process was very... insulting.

I believe to make the situation better, as far as the staff, who take information for the doctor before the client goes in, would be to call and do a check up with the client asking, simple basic questions. So that way they don't have to wait 2 days to go back or day and a half to go back to get a blood test done. Because I chewed a piece of gum or thatI was going to be in a certain building exactly where at basic information.

The one thing is the settling of the colonoscopy if if we have to do it at the hospital, scheduling is a ways out. So that's the one thing that needs Improvement. Otherwise over all the experience was good.

The lab staff was waiting on a long line of patients in the hallway, very ... little time to... process... my particular lab work and ask questions. Staff was overloaded got up.
