Biography
Brandis Montez is a double-board certified Adult/Gerontology Acute Care and Family Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Pueblo, Colorado and is a graduate of South High School. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2016, and she was apart of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. As a registered nurse, Brandis worked in the wellness centers in the high schools around Pueblo, and she also spent some time working in pediatric care. Brandis loves working with all ages, but she has a special place in her heart for the pediatric population. In 2017, she returned to Colorado State University-Pueblo to complete the nurse practitioner program and graduated with honors in 2019. While in school, Brandis fell in love with critical care medicine, trauma and orthopedics. In 2019, Brandis found her work home with Parkview as an orthopedic trauma nurse practitioner.
In her free time outside of practicing medicine, Brandis is a dance teacher and teaches competition dancers. She also loves all things health and fitness, and has a history competing in NPC fitness shows. She loves spending time with her family, attending country concerts, running and anything outdoors.
