Coral Martinez is a board certified adult gerontology primary care nurse practitioner. She earned her Master degree from Walden University while working full time at Parkview medical Center as a Endoscopy/ special procedure RN. She became especially interested in gastroenterology while working as a float pool nurse which led her to return to school to become more involved in the patients care.

Coral is a Pueblo native and grew up on the southside, she is a Central high school alumni, and also completed her Bachelors in Nursing at CSU-Pueblo in 2012.

Outside of work she enjoys, spending time with family/friends, traveling, and learning new things.

Yes, Coral Martinez is a great doctor and she listens to me, and she's works with me and she's been really great and wonderful with me, and I praise her, and I give her more than 10 stars and the staff. Thank you very much for everything.

The front desk personnel was little short. She needs to have a little more compassion because people going in to see her are experiencing some of these things for the first time in their life and it is very detrimental. So a little more compassion on her behalf of be greatly appreciated.

It would be helpful if the person at the reception desk acknowledged a patient as the patient is leaving. I said goodbye and didn't get a response. She wasn't on the phone and there were no other patients in the office. Not trying to nitpicky - to me that's just a common courtesy.

Everything you could do was done. All my questions were answered. Even the dumb ones and they were very professional. When I left I was comfortable.

I called at 9:00 this morning with a question about a mass on my liver. Coral Martinez mentioned it during my appointment, and I'd never heard about it before. During the appointment, Coral encouraged me to call with any questions, and she assured me that she would return phone calls by the end of each business day. After thinking about it (a mass on my liver) all night, I was concerned and called. I left a message asking for a return phone call. It is currently 6:25 pm, and I still have not had a return call. Other than that, I was extremely pleased with the professionalism and time spent with me.

There needs to be better communication from the staff. I have left two or three messages and have not had any return calls and that has been over several days.

When I choose a specialist (doctor) to see, I'm paying good money to see and talk to that specific doctor. It would be nice to be able to see and talk to that doctor after a procedure and not to a nurse practitioner, assistant or some other office worker. As a patient, we are looking forward to hearing what that particular doctor has to say about our individual situations because we trust their experience and knowledge that they have accumulated over the years and it seems through the Parkview system of doctors that we always have to talk to assistants or office workers instead of the actual doctor that we chose to do business with!!!!

Receptionists need to either remove masks be careful to enunciate when conversing with patients upon arrival. I had to ask that receptionist stop mumbling or take or take off mask.

This was only a phone visit, I really didn't see the staff or anybody, I just talked to the nurse or whatever the nurse practitioner on the telephone. So it was okay, wasn't great. Love to see somebody in person.

I waited in the exam room for 25-30 waiting for the nurse practitioner to arrive. The office did not appear to be busy with lots of patients, so this seemed rather a long wait.

I could have seen the actual dr. I was confused about why i was there. My interaction was the medical student who did vitals. So where was the dr? I felt this appointment was a waste of time

This was a phone appointment scheduled for 9:45 AM. It didn't start until 11:10. The provider did explain that she was pulled off to take care of emergencies. The Staff called and said that the appointment would start shortly (10:15). I wounder what would have happened if I sat in the office for close to 2 hours for waiting for a routine follow-up appointment?

I am unhappy about this visit because I was not notified in advance that it would be a telephone conversation. I was pulling into the Parkview parking garage when I got the phone call for the visit. So I sat in my car in the parking garage and talked on the phone with Coral. The office lady said that they had "tried to call me" to let me know, but the only call I got was a reminder call about the appointment which did not mention that it would be a phone call appt. And there was never a message left on my answering machine either. Not real happy about that...
