About Derar Albashaireh

After graduating from Jordan University of Science & Technology school of medicine with honors, Dr. Albashaireh
completed Internal Medicine residency training at Henry Ford Hospital/ Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Albashaireh then joined Tulane University for Cardiology Fellowship in New Orleans, Louisiana. He then completed his Interventional Cardiology training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in Texas. Dr. Albashaireh is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He is a Fellow of the American
College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. Dr. Albashaireh’s areas of interest include complex percutaneous coronary interventions; Acute Coronary Syndromes; Structural Heart Disease Interventions including Transcatheter Aortic/Mitral valve replacement/repair, Cardiogenic Shock and Mechanical Circulatory Support.

My wait wasn't long. Doctor came in and I gave him some feedback about me and my fears about my heart and he did schedule some testing to be done. The nurse seemed to be not very knowledgeable or whoever it was that took me to my room, I don't know if she was a nurse or not and that's about it. Testing was scheduled a whole month afterwards which kind of concerned me. I wished it could have been done at least a week but it was scheduled for a whole month. So I was a little concerned about that.

I think making a time schedule for me to come in and not making me wait over extreme minutes or an hour, an my hour after I was supposed to be there because I had to get a ride, so that isn't good. So anyway, take care. Have a good nice day. Bye.

I like the fact that they have people wear masks during our current pandemic environment, but I would like to see them enforce the mask policy, people wear the mask correctly up on their nose. I did see a couple of people in there who had the mask down below their nose, and if they're doing that, they might have not even have a mask on. That's my feedback. Thank you.

Get to the appointment time on time, I was even early and didn't get called back about 10 minutes after my appointment time. Nobody told me what was going on. Nobody told me why there was going to be a delay. Nothing, no communication at all. When the nurse came out. She did apologize for the delay, but that was it. Bye.

Check in and check out continue to be substandard. They're OK but simply not as strong as the medical staff. At both stations, I had the sense that I was interrupting something and causing irritation. Once I got their undivided attention, the experience was fine.

The ramp is way to steep. It was extremely hard for me to hold on to the wheelchair going down and trying to push my wheelchair up was almost impossible.
