About Dongkwan Jin

Dr. Dongkwan Jin is a Board-Certified neurologist caring for patients at Parkview Neurology Services.

He earned his medical degree from Jeonbuk National University College of Medicine in South Korea. He finished his neurology training in Kangbuk Samsung Hospital in South Korea and practiced in neurology before he decided to continue his career in the USA. He recently finished his second residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, and joined neurology team at Parkview.

Throughout his extensive training, Dr. Jin has been building his interest in stroke and continued to work on academic activities in the field of cerebrovascular disease.

He enjoys teaching his patients about preventive medicine and management of strokes.

Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and playing golf.

More time with Dr. to discuss my illnesses and they assume too much too quick.

Have more that one person that can schedule appts. Took almost two weeks to schedule my appt. Scheduler was sick or out of the office or away from desk.

Not much can be changed. Reporting to any medical provider for the first time is intimidating.

I think the staff and the doctor are both excellent. And I'm already talking to my friends. And my wife about transferring from the doctor they're going to now to Dr. Jin.

I would have liked to have a more thorough examination and more information on my condition. I left there not knowing anything I didn't already know from my provider. He prescribed another medication which I tried and it made me dizzy so an not taking it. The doctor seemed rushed although he was congenial.

Yes, the doctor was very professional very interested in my condition. Very forthcoming with information that help me understand. my situation and just overall, very, very professional, very knowledgeable. It's what I would call this doctor and thanks for having him on staff.

They are wonderful. Absolutely wonderful, the folks that work there and the Student, I guess it was learning as well. Everybody was just so friendly and kind and I would recommend anybody to go to them and they'll be happy that they did.

This office has problems with maintaining positive appointment scheduling. This appointment was the result of a rescheduling from an appointment they say I was late for but I put appointments into my calendar into my digital calendar and this is the only office I've had this kind of problem with. This kind of conflict only happens at this Dr office. And this isn't the only time. The appointment I was supposedly late for was a rescheduled appointment for some other reason. I've Eben showed up to this office to be told the Dr was in vacation and my appointment hasn't been rescheduled beforehand.

He was listening to my problem that I had with my Parkinson's and he did good to me, he explained about my medication and it seems to be helping me now that I'm taking it and he's a very good doctor. The whole staff is very good to me. They treated me real good.

I don't really think there's anything that you they could have done to improve. They were all the office staff was very well mannered and Dr. Jin is just outstanding with his knowledge and his ability to pinpoint things. I was very happy with him and I am very happy with him.
