Realizing how busy the office was it was a little long waiting time but I still won't complain the wait was worth it.

No one told me I needed a PSA test before coming for this appointment. This appointment was a waste of time

I came into the ER at St Mary Colin's by ambulance for extreme pain r/t kidney stones, pain, and I am not a chronic pain patient nor drug seeker. My kidney stone removal procedure was set out for 1 week by Dr Richter with a follow up. My need for treatment to relieve pain was set on the providers schedule, not my need as a patient to prevent more pain. I began experiencing severe pain again over the weekend before the scheduled Lithotripsy procedure which continued intermittently requiring me to take narcotic. I am a college student and could not focus on my school work getting my acedemics behind. I should have received the Lithotripsy by my needs. As a paying insured patient I am infuriated. I came in originally by ambulance that should have been a red flag for my pain tolerance. It is taking 1 week to get the Lithotripsy. That is not patient centered at all. As an RN I will not recommend Pueblo Heathcare for anyone I know.I feel that the only thing that was cared about the money you will recieve from my insurance not my patient outcome.

The doctor could have been more sensitive to my problem. I thought he was very short with me and he might be a great doctor, I don't know. But my experience when I left not feeling any better than when I walked in. He wasn't very sympathetic.

Time management, being a chart w my info into room would make me more comfortable. Should not take 45 minutes to just refill a prescription. Have to be here 30 min prior and 45 minutes till seen Dr past appt time. It is very hard to schedule medical transportation, must be ordered 45 hrs prior to visit needs. Twenty minutes on hold to cancel or to get picked up early. Wastes more than half a day....waiting I got things to do, too Phone visit, for refills and maybe yearly checks, I was told my bladder along up repair would last 10 yrs. In '96'. My bladder neck was broken from balance beam accident. Denver university didn't know how to fix it, and tied it up. Left front side gives me a lot of pain, w the weight of another and during sex its painful. How's a man supposed to make love to me when I, cry out when it's a pleasurable time. He is not gonna want to touch me Pap is normal, have no ovaries. Dr is polite Young man

Well like the receptionist kind of, took a little little bit quite took me like 20 minutes just to get a new appointment but that that was, that was alright with me. But I just had someone waiting for me and other than that woman. I don't see how it takes. 20 minutes to set another appointment, but other than that, everything was pretty cool. And alright, thank you.

Yes, I could use more, much more explanation, maybe to look, and go over the scans and MRI what they meant. What ,what were the outlying conditions? That sort of thing? Seem like we were kind of rushed. I'm not sure why maybe as late in the day. but I could have used more definition as to some of the things that had been determined. And the status that I was in.

There was originally some mix up on the initial referal from my PCP. I tried calling and left 3 messages regarding an appointment and I never received a call back. I had to go in personally to make certain the referal was received amd this delayed getting an appointment by approximately 3 weeks. Need a better system for leaving messages and ensuring calls get returned.

You can't get a hold of them when you call - I had my pharmacy try to call the office - you can't get a hold of them. They give me an appointment, I got there, took my card with me. She says "no your appointment's not for today, it's for tomorrow". I said "No I got my card right here" because they did it to me twice. They screw up the appointments. They don't come back from lunch on time.

First someone in this office notified me that I would have to go to La Junta for treatment. I told them I did Not want to drive that far. Then they called back and said it would be in the Pueblo office. I have been sick with stomach flu for a week and called to cancel the appointment. The phone person said please hold and hung up twice! When we were finally able to talk to someone I was told I had already had the procedure and this was just a follow up visit. Since I have not been able to have the procedure I knew that was wrong. I trust Dr. Richter but have great distrust in the office people! I am now covered by Medicaid and may be forced to find other care!

Love Dr. Richter and he is the ONLY reason I continue to be seen in this office. The office staff repeatedly drops the ball as far as returning calls, handling scheduling for procedures, etc. I have had to make numerous, repeat calls in order to try to get information, lab orders, etc. At this time, I cannot say whether I will continue to see Dr. Richter simply because his office staff seems incompetent. It's unfortunate as he is a wonderful doctor and I hate to have to transfer elsewhere and lose care from a provider I trust and like very much.

I just wanted to say this...tied for the first place, Dr. Richter's office. The whole office would be tied for the first place with another doctor who I had for years. You guys, you can't get no better for me. Even my sister was with me, and she was thoroughly impressed with you guys. Anytime I could recommend your office I will do so anytime anybody needs that type of help. Thank you. Take care, and yes, I'll be seeing him again.

I had a great visit with Dr. Richter, I really liked his nurse Rhonda, I thought they were very helpful and efficient and professional. However, the scheduler spoke too quickly and kind of felt rushed. So I ended up leaving not entirely sure what one of the tests I will be getting is - not worried because I will hear from my local radiology department and it will all become clear - but I was a little bit unhappy that the procedures weren't very clear and it was because she was clearly so anxious to be done with us, and move on to our next situation

I know you guys were short staff that day and you did really well dealing with that situation, but I would say if you could not seem so rushed and take a little more time to fully listen and understand the patient, and let them know that you are understanding them, that would probably be helpful.

October 28, 2021
I was taken quickly into the exam room which was nice that I didn't have a long wait, but waiting for the doctor was really long. The fact the doctor is patient and takes the time with each of us to go over details after surgery is important, so it is a trade off.
5/5
October 26, 2021
Yes, when I checked in, they didn't ask for my insurance cards and I had to ask them if they wanted them. They should have said upfront they didn't need them, but they were silent and so was the doctor. He said someone would come get them, but they never did. I'm kind of baffled how that was processed. Thank you.

With SARS-COV2(2019)-delta, the gorilla many people refuse to see; waiting rooms, exam rooms, toilets, labs, even hallways confer excess risk. Engineering approaches to mitigation will be expensive. It seems, though, they will probably be necessary/required. Proactive effort and expenditure will more than pay for itself.
