Dr. Erin Ashby is the clinical psychologist for Parkview Medical Center. She currently works in he outpatient Behavioral Services office providing assessment and therapy services. She graduated from the University of the Rockies with a focus on assessment and neuropsychology. She completed her internship at a chemical dependency outpatient treatment center and her post-doctoral fellowship in an acute care mental health stabilization unit. She has received her diplomate status in psychotherapy and chemical dependency from the International Association of Counseling, Behavioral Medicine and Psychotherapy. Since joining Parkview, she has worked in their Acute Rehabilitation Unit dealing with pain and health related behaviors, as well as the Chemical Dependency Unit where she focuses on addiction and trauma. Her specialties include trauma, addiction, neuropsychology, bariatric assessment, pain, and assessment.

Travel, hiking, home remodeling, riding horses, dancing and sewing

Dr. Ashby teaches "Mental Aspects of Spine and Joint Replacement Surgery" during Parkview Medical Center's weekly classes offered to patients who are scheduled for surgery.
In the past, she has served as an Affiliate Professor at Regis University in Colorado Springs, a teaching assistant at University of the Rockies, and has worked extensively with the Civil Air Patrol in various teaching capacities.

I became a psychologist to help people develop their full potential and create the life they want for themselves.
