Biography
Dr. Brames is a graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and obtained his medical degree from Indiana University in Indianapolis. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina where he also served as Chief Resident. His Pediatric Cardiology training was with Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology and a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography, Dr. Brames' interests include pediatric and fetal echocardiography, diastolic function, and single ventricle defects. He currently serves as director of the Pediatric Echocardiography Lab at Memorial Hospital, and serves the outreach clinic in Pueblo.
Dr. Brames lives in Colorado Springs with his wife and three children. His hobbies include golf, skiing and hiking.
