Biography
Dr. Jan Hunt is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist practicing at Women’s Health Center. Dr. Hunt, a Michigan-native, attended undergraduate at Michigan State University, where she studied Human Nutrition. She then pursued her Medical Degree at the Medical University of the Americas and returned to her home state to complete her Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She specializes in high-risk obstetrical care and minimally invasive gynecology surgery. Dr. Hunt is a laparoscopically and da vinci trained surgeon, both important skill sets in providing her patients with the most up-to-date, and minimally-invasive gynecological surgery options. She also enjoys counseling her patients on healthy lifestyles and preventative medicine.
The perennial student, Dr. Hunt also earned a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus in Health Care Management from Davenport University.
When not taking care of her patients, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with her bulldog, spoiling her nephews, paddle boarding and baking.
