About Kelly Colbert

Kelly Colbert is a Family Nurse Practitioner, who is board certified in Family Medicine, caring for patients in the Parkview Medical Group Rapid Care clinic. She has over 20 years of medical experience. In 2007, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner from the distinguished University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She completed Doctorate of Nursing Practice course work in 2013. Kelly holds the high honor of being inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing at the Graduate level and was invited at the Undergraduate level as well.

Kelly offers her patients a convenient solution to addressing a wide range of acute medical issues by allowing for both scheduled and walk-in appointments. The clinic is open Monday – Friday, from 8a.m. – 6p.m. Patients are encouraged to use the Fast Track route by calling in advance to provide the clinic staff with information about their medical issue over the phone to make appointments in the office more efficient.

Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys family fun with her husband and their 7 children. Kelly is proud to care for the patients and the community in her hometown.

Provider called Rx in to a Walgreens that did not have a pharmacist. After several phone calls checking if Rx ready, finally drove to store and was told there is no pharmacist and asked what to do and was given phone #'s for other Walgreens and ended up on other side of town to get Rx and arrived home at 9 to finally start medication for a very painful bladder infection! Very frustrating experience!

Everybody from the front desk, m.a. and doctor were wonderful to deal with and very informative. Gave as much time as needed and was very knowledgeable about everything we discussed. Felt no rush to be in and out and just want to thank them for their dedication.

I had a rapid strep test done and was told it was positive but didn't go in with any signs or symptoms of s strep and took a new test the next day off of antibiotics and it was negative. I think I was missed diagnosed.

Hello, this is just a test. I have no complaints about. About the medical care here at Parkview hospital, I think you guys are up. I believe you guys are all professionals. I hopefully I pressed the right numbers, but I have no complaints about Dr. Colbert or the nursing staff out there. I am completely satisfied. I rate you guys a 10 and I will go back if I need to. When Kelly Colbert was listening to my breathing on the backside, she did fine. When she listened to my chest, and my abdomen, she touched me, but she acted like she was burned. She just touched me, and she removed the stethoscope.

I just didn't feel that she respected what I was saying and really listen to me, and she kind of made it sound like she thought idea to have a clue what what was happening my own body? And I just feel like I've been improved on and she could have been a little more respectful. Thank you.

I think allowing input on the specialist or referral appointments would be appreciated. I was given the time of 8:30 and the office had the time of 9:30. However, they were able to accommodate the oversight. And it's a small human error late in the afternoon, so I appreciate the referral. Thank you.

I needed a dr note to return because of my dizziness from a inner ear infection. The clerical I talked to was rude and disrespectful and acted like it was a big deal to do and was skeptical in Kelly doing it

What I wanted out of this visit was very clear and I was told what i wanted wasnt possible because supposedly an introductory visit needed to take place AFTER the visit i just had. It did not make sense. Tests that could have easily been charged to insurance had they consolidated this issues visit w/ the i introductory visit I am now paying for out of pocket. I received my labs that were ordered as part if this urgent visit and no one has called me about the results. When offices center insurance guided processes over patient care its very frustrating. Further it was not a valuable use of my time because no new information or relief of any kind was advised. I will not return.
