Medical Education

Parkview Medical Center is a proud supporter of student learning in a number of disciplines. The hospital itself offers a full range of healthcare services, allowing students to obtain an in-depth clinical experience suited to working in the medical profession.

The Parkview School of Medical Laboratory Science is sponsored by Parkview’s main laboratory and has been in operation since 1966. This NAACLS-accredited program provides students with the education necessary to work in a medical laboratory.

The Internal Medicine Residency program includes training in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of patients while emphasizing the principles of OPP/OMM, medical knowledge, patient care, professionalism, interpersonal skills, system based practice, and practice based learning.

Internal Medicine Subspecialty Fellowship Programs offered at Parkview include training in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, and Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine.
