Audition Rotation

Parkview Medical Center feels it is important that every resident be a good fit for the Residency program that they select. The Internal Medicine residency program is excited to offer fourth-year medical students an opportunity to rotate with our program.

The Graduate Medical Education office is now accepting applications. Rotations are scheduled to begin August 1, 2021. To request an audition please selected the Rotation Request Tab below.

Parkview Medical Center is a base hospital for Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine 3rd year medical students. Elective rotations are reserved for our residents and medical students.

ROTATION REQUEST

Please complete and submit the following information to Debbie_Vandegrift@parkviewmc.com

  • Completed application (Create link to application)
  • Current copy of CV
  • Current photo
  • All Comlex/USMLE scores that are available
Applications will be reviewed
Email confirmation of approval/non-approval will be sent
Welcome letter will be sent approximately two months prior to start of your rotation.
Submit required documents to Graduate Medical Education Office:
  • School Contact information
    • Name of school
    • Contact person (4th year Coordinator)
    • Email and phone number
  • Letter of good standing
  • Proof of current Professional Liability and General Liability Insurance
  • Current immunization records, including Hepatitis B, Hepatitis B titer results, MMR, TDAP, Varicella, negative TB Skin Test
  • Current documentation of influenza vaccine (within last 12 months)
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccine if received (Not required)
  • Current AHA BLS training certificate
  • Criminal background check completed pasted 12-24 months prior to start of rotation
  • Current 10 panel drug screen test completed 12 months prior to start of rotation
  • Documentation of training in: (Must meet federal OSHA requirements)
    • Bloodborne pathogens
    • Fire and electrical safety
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
    • Hazardous Chemicals
    • Infectious preventive practices
  • Student evaluation form
