School of Phlebotomy

The Parkview School of Phlebotomy is a professional phlebotomy training program located in Pueblo, Colorado. The mission of the program is to prepare men and women to serve as skilled phlebotomists at Parkview Medical Center and other phlebotomy sites in southern Colorado. The program is 15 weeks long and consists of lectures and clinical experience.

Program Mission & Goals:

The mission of the School of Phlebotomy is to provide Parkview Medical Center and the surrounding community with phlebotomists that meet or exceed the technical and behavioral standards of care for the profession.

The program’s goals are to:

1. Administer a curriculum that can be used to study for and pass the ASCP Board of Certification examination in phlebotomy.

2. Provide the hospital and outlying areas with trained phlebotomy professionals that will work in southern Colorado.
