The program was officially approved in April and the first class of three cardiology fellows will begin their education in July under the guidance of Dr. Wallacy Garcia of Pueblo Cardiology Associates. Each class will have three fellows and at full strength, the program will be training nine new cardiologists.

  • Parkview celebrates fifth phlebotomy school graduation 4/17/2019

    Parkview Medical Center has reached a miletson this month in its efforts to train quality phlebotomists. Parkview opened its schoolof phlebotomy in 2017. The program will celebrate its fifth graduation on Friday, recognizing eight students who completed a 15-week course to earn a certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and possibly a job at Parkview Medical Center.
