Parkview Foundation Scholarship Program

Strengthening Our Community One Student at a Time

The Parkview Foundation under the direction of an exceptional Board of Directors and the work of its dedicated staff continues to be a pivotal source of funding to Parkview Medical Center. Established in 1976, the Parkview Foundation raises funds to further the mission of the medical center. For the past forty plus years the Parkview Foundation has been involved in many projects ranging from fundraising events, sponsoring employee recognition awards and supporting health care scholarships.

The Parkview Foundation holds an increasingly important role for the community by investing in higher education. The Parkview Foundation Scholarship Program was created in 1981, as an opportunity to ensure that we have optimal health care in Pueblo for many generations to come. Scholarships are awarded to employees and students in the community pursuing degrees in nursing, acute care and non-clinical health care programs. The impact of Parkview Foundation scholarships is significant in terms of maintaining a strong health care workforce in the community.
