The Parkview Foundation under the direction of an exceptional Board of Directors and the work of its dedicated staff continues to be a pivotal source of funding to Parkview Medical Center. Established in 1976, the Parkview Foundation raises funds to further the mission of the medical center. For the past forty plus years the Parkview Foundation has been involved in many projects ranging from fundraising events, sponsoring employee recognition awards and supporting healthcare scholarships.

The impact of every gift received by the Foundation from generous donors is significant to the continued growth of Parkview Medical Center. It is through this collective generosity that positively attributes to our achievements. The Parkview Foundation has been instrumental in providing funds to improve facilities, enhance services, advance technology and support quality improvement opportunities at Parkview.

The Parkview Foundation holds an increasingly important role for the community by investing in higher education. Scholarships are an investment to ensure that we have optimal healthcare in Pueblo for many generations to come. Scholarships are awarded to employees and students in the community pursuing degrees in nursing and acute medical fields. The impact of Parkview Foundation scholarships is significant in terms of maintaining a strong health care workforce in the community. The Foundation determines the need for scholarships by identifying health care professions that are in high demand.
